Course Description
In this weekend-long course, we apply concepts from across the MSMS curriculum to some of the most challenging exercises on the Pilates equipment. This will allow long-time students to integrate their knowledge in ways that aren’t usually available during our curriculum courses. But it’s also a great opportunity for newer students to be exposed to MSMS in a fun, less theory-intensive environment. We’ll learn how to get the most out of exercises on the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Barrels by applying the foundational material from Look, Listen, Push, Pull; Separate But Connected; and Your Song Is Your Strength.
Relevant anatomy, kinesiology, and motor learning lecture recordings will be available online for as much (or little!) review as you want to do ahead of time, so the weekend can be dedicated to practice! Space is limited, so register early!
