Course Description

Some of the benefits of taking time for exercise probably come from directing our attention away from the cares of the day. Pilates has this attentional training built in, and we can lean into it to enhance the stress-relieving effects of the Method. In this class, we’ll tune into sensation and the experience of our own “inner space,” while working our way gently through the whole body. You’ll feel the benefits of Pilates for your body, mind, and spirit. And you’ll be able to use concepts and techniques from class to help your own clients relieve mental stress, work with pain, and sink deeper into their bodies.
